Event Details
This October will mark the 5th Annual Devil's Chase 6.66 Miler and 1st Annual Devils Chase Virtual Run. Runners from all over the world will be participating in this 6.66 virtual run. The objective is to bring this fun, unique event to the masses who can't make the trip to Salem for the live run. You will receive your bib # and custom event shirt by Oct 24th. Between the 25th -27th you will complete your 6.66 miles and submit your time through a secure template that will be emailed to you. Once all times are submitted by the deadline of Oct 27th at midnight we will announce awards/prizes and special awards. The week of the 29th you will receive a certificate of completion for participating in the 6.66 miler.
BIB# 666
Where in the world will runner 666 be? Bib #666 will be auctioned off three weeks prior to Oct 25th. All proceeds from this auction will be directly allocated towards the Plummer Home for Boys our event beneficiary.
Awards/Prizes
The first 50 virtual runners who post scores will be placed into a huge raffle to receive airfare to Salem, 2014 race entry fee's, hotel accommodations, Devils Chase Custom Made Masks and more.
Special Awards
The first 25 participants who upload or send in pictures dressed in costume will be awarded a special custom award. These will be mailed with your certificate of completion of the 6.66 miler.

Scoring
All results will be submitted through this timing company, RaceWire. The window to enter your results will be from Oct 25th at 12am through Oct 27 at 12am. At that point submission will be closed to finalize the award winners.
Plummer Home
The Plummer Home for Boys (www.plummerhome.org) is a private, non-profit entity that has existed for over 150 years. It provides services for adolescent and young adult males from throughout the North shore who have a history of abuse and neglect and/or are struggling with managing their behaviors. The Home works to instill in each boy a sense of hope and confidence, to learn more adaptive behaviors, and to develop greater self-esteem in order to help them lead fulfilling lives.
