This event is for WOMEN & GIRLS ages 9-99... your age on RACE DAY. Women over 99 are FREE!

Spend the day in beautiful Fort Adams State Park on the water in Newport, Rhode Island where you will run, paddle board, rock climb, hula hoop, ride a tricycle, slide down a chocolate filled slide and laugh your way to the finish line.

Picnic with your friends & family, shop our retail therapy tent and party with us as we celebrate all that we do to run our busy lives!

INFO ABOUT THE DAY
COURSE:
The 4.4 mile road race is two laps of a 2.2 mile loop around scenic Fort Adams. Life is not always a smooth ride and neither is the road race or obstacle course. A portion of the event is on grass, dirt road, pavement and sand.

The obstacle course is approximately 4 miles. The run, the paddle board and the tricycle legs are longer this year. There will be an additional rock climbing wall to alleviate some wait time and we have asked Mother Nature to cooperate so the rain won’t dilute the chocolate on the slide this year. Bring your cameras!

AWARDS:
The 4.4 mile race is timed and there will be awards for the top finishers. The Sanity Chase is not timed but the award is the goody bag we give each entrant. We all work hard, we all deserve to be rewarded. It's the best schwag bag this side of the Mississippi! (In our opinion!)

T-SHIRT:
We love to design great t-shirts and this year will be no different.
You get a free super soft cotton tee with every Sanity Chase entry. We are still debating the give away for the road race but we promise it will be equally fun.

NUMBER PICK UP:
Pick up your number the day before the race in the parking lot of Fort Adams from 1-4pm. Look for the WOMEN RUN truck. (It’s hard to miss!)
Yes, you can pick up numbers for your friends if they have registered on-line.
Yes, you can also pick up your number the day of the race. We recommend arriving an hour before your wave or the road race to avoid any delays.

POST RACE PARTY:
You worked hard so you should party hard too! Music, food, beverages, sweet treats and shopping! What more could you ask for? Bring money, a picnic blanket, your camera, and your friends & family!

PARKING:
Parking is FREE in Fort Adams State Park, but carpooling is highly encouraged. The Park is open to the public so parking may get full if it's a beautiful day.

RESTROOMS:
There are real restrooms in one of the Park Buildings and there will be portable ones close to the start/finish line.

MEDICAL:
There will be a registered nurse on site if medical assistance is required.
