I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity that might cause personal injury or even death. I attest and verify that I am medically able and properly trained to enter and to complete this event. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all the risks associated with running this event including high heat, and/or humidity, traffic and conditions of the road/bridges, all such risk being known and appreciated by me. I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Runner’s Paradise Inc., and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I understand that all entries are final, with no refunds, and that the race organizers reserve the right in the event of an emergency or local or national disaster to cancel the race or to change the day and/or time of the event and that there is no refund of entry fees. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. Finally, although race t-shirts sizes are collected at the time of registration, shirt sizes- including the one you register for- are not guaranteed to any participants in the race. A race t-shirt IS guaranteed to every participant, but not in a particular size. Race staff uses registered shirt sizes as a gauge for race needs weeks in advance of the actual race, prior to receiving all final entries. In order to ensure you receive a specific or desired size, please plan on attending the first day of packet pickup when more shirts are available. All forms must be signed. Incomplete, unsigned forms will not be accepted. SecureFee™ Registration Cancellation Insurance is offered in most states. If purchased, your registration may be covered for one of the covered reasons stated in the policy.
