About This Event
Join us for some real Halloween Fun as we #RunPalmSprings on Halloween morning. Wear your costume and compete in the costume contest as you run past the Wellwood Murray Cemetary and then follow a scenic route through spooktacular Palm Springs neighborhoods. There's a trick-or-treat dash for kids 10 and under that includes a Halloween button, trick-or-treat bag and goody stations along the route.
Course
The 5K course is runner, walker, stroller and doggie friendly and meanders through the Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs. Watch for the tombstone mile markers along the way and don't be frightened by A Halloween costume contest is held post-race and includes special prizes for the winners. Participants receive an event shirt, finisher medal and lots of post-race treats. The course starts and finishes in downtown St. Louis and includes plenty of scary cool things, which add to the festive feel of the event. Throw on your Halloween costumes, grab your family & friends and run or walk this fun-filled 5K course celebrating Halloween, community spirit, and a great way to raise money for a great cause! The course meanders through the Las Palmas neighborhood - watch out for surprises as you climb "Haunted Hill". Fast downhill mile to the finish where you will have your finisher photo taken as you cross the finish line.
Awards
The categories for our costume contest will be Spooktacular finisher medals will be awarded to all 5K finishers as well as age group awards 3 deep in 5 year age categories. Trophies presented to top 3 men and women finishers. Costume contest and prizes for: Most Original, Scariest, Princess and Best Crime Fighter There will be child, adult and 4-legged winners for each of these categories.
T-Shirts
Halloween themed tech t-shirts included with registration for all 5K participants.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, October 30th from 11AM - 5PM at Running Wild 611 S. Palm Canyon, Palm Springs or on race morning, on site beginning at 6:30AM. Late registration will also be available at packet pick-up and race morning.
Parking
Off-site parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods approximately 1 block from the starting line.
