RUNNING OF THE LEPRECHAUNS 5k Benefitting Boston Children's Hospital
The 3rd Annual "RUNNING of the Leprechauns 5K" benefitting Boston Childrens Hospital is a Rolling Party- Pre-Race DJ, Bagpiper & Fiddler on route, lively St. Patricks Day Party to follow- Beef Stew, Irish bread Cash Bar, Raffles, Auctions, Goulding Dancers & "Erin's Guild" Irish Band and Goulding Dancers! 5k Race/Walk/Party in Medford.
COSTUMES ENCOURAGED!!!

The Running of the Leprechauns 5K is a chip-timed event for ALL (walkers too) participants; the chip will be on the back of your race number.

Best Costume (judged by the race directors) $100 Cash & Medal to Top Male & Top Female Overall. Age group awards Medal for: 13 & under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 60+. Overall awards are based on gun time; age group awards are based on chip time.

8:30 am -10:30 am On site Registration

10:30am- Our Party in the streets begins with pre-race warm up & stretch with Medford's ZUMBA Queen Nancy Palladino-come on out and strut your costume!

11:00am SHARP – 3rd Annual Running of the Leprechauns 5k run begins!

11:30-3pm – St. Patrick's Day after-party at Medford Elks. Hot Beef Stew, fresh Irish Bread and lively entertainment by ERIN'S GUILD Irish Band and GOULDING Irish Dancers!

12:30 pm awards presentation on the Stage inside.
ROUTE
Medford Elks down Washington Street, Right onto Park Street, right onto Riverside Avenue right onto George P. Hassett Drive, left onto Salem St, right onto Forest St, left onto Lawrence Road, left onto Governors Avenue, left onto High Street straight across Medford Square down Riverside Avenue, left onto Park Street, left onto Franklin St to Washington Street cross the finish line in front of Medford Elks.

Parking is free on Sundays and is available in numerous lots around the corner in Medford Square or at Medford City Hall.

POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:
In the event of inclement weather, the event may be postponed to another date. No refunds will be issued due to conflicts with the postponement date. If RACE must cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, no refunds will be issued. Please remember, all proceeds go to charity.

In consideration of accepting my application to participate in the 2016 the Running of the Leprechauns (the “Event”), I agree to assume all responsibility for any and all risk of damage or injury that may occur to me as a participant, and I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, personal representative, and administrators release, waive, and discharge any and all rights, claims, causes of action and damages I may have, present or future, whether arising out of, or incident to, my participation in the Event, against the Foundation of Friends, The Medford Elks, its officers, Board members, employees or agents, and against the sponsors of the Event and the City of Medford. I also hereby grant permission to any of the foregoing to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recording or any other record of my participation in this event for any purpose.
