Bite Back Lyme Walk & Run
Global Lyme Alliance invites everyone to join in a fun 5K walk/run, starting promptly at 10:00 AM. Following the timed 5K on a USAT&F certified course, we will have a 5K or 1 mile walk and a "Fun Run" for kids of all ages. Awards ceremony and refreshments will follow the race. Medals will be awarded in age categories; the fastest male and female runners will receive prizes. We also honor our top fundraisers.
Proceeds
Proceeds from the race will support the mission of Global Lyme Alliance, a 501(c)3 organization that funds Lyme and tick borne disease research, education and awareness of detection, treatment and prevention.
Race Information / Number Pick-up
The event held - Race or Shine - at the Cove Island Park, Stamford, CT. Race starts promptly at 10:00 AM. Parking is free. For the run, the course is a certified 5K. If you are signing up today, package pick-up is only available on Sunday 4/24, starting at 9:00 AM at Cove Island Park, Stamford, CT. Online registration is $25/individual and $85/family (up to six participants). Day of race, registration is $30/individual and $90/family.
Teams
We are a community with a common cause - eradicate Lyme disease. It's fun to run/walk together, so grab some friends and start a team.
T-Shirts
Participants that register by April 1, 2016 receive a free T-Shirt. Must register online.
Post Run Activities
Post run activities will include family entertainment. A variety of local vendors will attend and showcase their products.

I hereby grant permission to Global Lyme Alliance and its authorized agents to use my name and photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of my participation in this event for any purpose.
