About This Event
RACE DAY INFO:
Race Day Registration and Number Pick-up open at 8:30 AM at Lake Park. We will be set up on the football field.
PARKING: There is some construction going on in the parking lot but DCR said there should be plenty of spaces. If the lot does fill up you can park across the street at Buffone Arena hockey rink.
RACE TIMES- Kids Fun Run starts at 9:30. 5K Run/Walk starts at 10 a.m. Prizes awarded to overall male/female winners.
There will be face painting, music, cupcakes and apple cider on the football field after the Kids Run. There will be water, refreshments on football field after 5K.
POST RACE PARTY at Pepe's starts at noon. Remember to bring your drink ticket with you. $15 at door for Non-race participants. Pizza, apps, & cupcakes courtesy of CocoBeni served. Cash bar. Kids free. Come join us! It's going to be a great day!!


Registration Fees as follows:

5K Run/Walk is $25.00 for those who register by September 26th. The registration fee will increase to $30.00 after September 26th and will be $30.00 day of the event.

5K Run/Walk individuals ages 18 and under is $20.00 and will increase to $25.00 after September 26th and be $25.00 on the day of the event.

5K Run/Walk High School Team $15.00 per runner. **GROUP DISCOUNT for High School Team of 3 or more registration drop to $15.00. You can register as a group online or mail-in registration form available on www.mbbloves.org or on Mary Beth Benison Foundation FaceBook page or email mbbfoundation@gmail.com to get one.

Kid 1K Fun run registration is $10.00.

ALL MAIL-IN registration must be received by 9/26/16.

All Kids Fun Run participants who register by 9/26/16 are guaranteed a Long Sleeve Tech T-Shirt.
All 5K participants who register by 9/26/16 are guaranteed a Long Sleeve Tech Shirt, registration packet and slice of pizza and a drink at Post Race party at Pepe's.


The MBB Foundation 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run is the kick off event for the Mary Beth Benison Foundation and will be held in memory of Nancy Finkle who passed away from ALS.
There will be a Post Race Party starting at 12:00 p.m. at Pepe's on Franklin St in Worcester and we will be raffling off many prizes. All race participants will get beer ticket on race bib (or good for non-alcoholic drink), pizza and apps.
**Long Sleeve Tech T-Shirt guaranteed to 5K and Fun Run participants who register by 9/26/16.

We are having a Post Race Party at Pepe's at 274 Franklin Street, Worcester, MA 01604. We will have music, a lot of great raffles, silent auction, food and drinks! $15 at the door for all non-race participants.

Parking will be available at in the parking lot at Lake Park or across the street at Buffone Arena.
DIRECTIONS
From the East/Northeast:
Take Rte 495 to Rte 290 West.
Follow Rte 290W to Exit #22, Main St/Shrewsbury.
Take a right at end of ramp.
At second set of lights, take a left onto Plantation St.
Follow Plantation St. back under Rte 290 and then take a your next left onto Natural History Dr. (Natural History Dr. will turn into N. Lake Ave.)
Travel straight on Lake Ave across Rte 9 for 1 mile to park entrance on left. Park is located directly across from the State Skating Rink.

From Boston/Southeast:
Take MASS PIKE West (Rte. I-90W) to exit # 11 in Grafton, Rte 122.
Take a left onto Rte 122 North(Grafton St).
At the third set of lights take a right onto Sunderland Rd.
At the next set of lights take a left onto Lake Ave.
Proceed for approximately 1 mile and park entrance on right.
Park is located directly across from the State Skating Rink.

From West/Southwest:
Take MASS PIKE east (Rte. I-90E) to exit #10 in Auburn, Rte 290.
Follow 290E through Worcester to exit #21, Plantation St.
Take a right at end of ramp onto Plantation St.
Take your next left onto Natural History Dr. (Nat. History Dr. will turn into N Lake Ave)
Travel straight on Lake Ave across Rte 9 for 1 mile to park entrance on left. Park is located directly across from the State Skating Rink.

From Northwest:
Take Rte 2 West to Rte 190 South towards Worcester.
Follow Rte 190S to end onto Rte 290 East.
Take 290E to exit #21, Plantation St.
