EVENT PROCEEDS
The Funky Sock to Stock Race is to raise awareness and funds for the East Cobb Middle School Food Pantry and PE Department. ECMS provides a Food Pantry for families in need in our community. Items such as food, snacks, basic hygiene items and paper products are provided through the pantry. 50% of the proceeds from the race will go toward the Food Pantry and 50% of the proceeds will go to purchase equipment for students use in the ECMS Health and PE Department. Race Day Packet Pickup: 6:45-7:45 a.m.
Race Start: 8 a.m. 5k and 1 mile Fun Run
Race Awards: 9 a.m.
Health Fair and Refreshments Immediately following Race
Entry Fees include bib number and t-shirt

This course is certified as a Peachtree Qualifier.

AWARDS
Awards presented to Overall Male/Female, Overall Male/Female Masters, and Top three in age groups beginning with 10 and under through 65 and over.
RAFFLE
Various Items will be offered for a raffle drawing.
A donation of 3 canned goods for the food pantry will = 1 ticket for the raffle drawing
PARKING
The ECMS parking lot and Wheeler HS parking lot will be available for race day parking. Half of the parking lot will be used for the race activities, vendors and sponsor tents. Please be sure to follow parking signs and volunteer instructions if you park in the ECMS lot.
