Event Information
T-Shirts
Our world famous DryTec shirts will be given out to everyone who registers by July 23. Those who register after July 23 may receive last year's race shirt (a nice consolation prize).
Number Pick-up
Numbers can also be picked up the morning of the race at the Bedford High School track, beginning at 7:30.
Course
The course mainly follows our high school's cross-country course. It begins and ends on the BHS track. The race goes on roads, the packed dirt bike path, and on the grassy fields of John Glenn Middle School. Running shoes or racing flats with blanks on them are recommended. The course is incredibly flat and fast! Note: the first year this race ran, the course was 140m too long. This was corrected last year and the course is now a true 5K.
Awards
Awards will be given in eight categories: men 45 and over, women 45 and over, men 25-44, women 25-44, men 17-24, women 17-24, boys 16 and under, girls 16 and under. There will be a separate prize for first male and first female finisher.
Post Race Party
All racers are welcome to stay around after they finish for refreshments, sharing of stories, awards, and all around good times. Deejay Charles Alperin will play music to get you running your best.
Results
Results will be available after the race as soon as they are tabulated by the race directors. These will be posted online after the race. Timing will be done by David Wilbur and Co.
Registration Info
Online registration will end at 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 3.
You may still sign up the morning of the race starting at 7:30 AM at the Bedford High School track.
