ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Orville Rogers RUN FOR THE HILLS 5K: Looking Back 100 Years is a major annual fundraiser benefiting the International Museum of Cultures. The race ends a six-day special event called 100 Years: A Weeklong Tribute to World War I. To honor war heroes of WWI and other veterans, the Museum will feature various events the week leading up to the race. Distance: 5K. Route: Keyhole configuration, paved road surface.

COMMEMORATIVE WWI MEDAL
In honor of the 100 Year Tribute to WWI, the first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative medal designed for the Texas WWI Centennial.

You may register up to the morning of the race. Registration will close at 9:00 A.M.

PARKING
Parking is available at the Start/Finish line which is located in the parking lot of the International Museum of Cultures. Overflow parking is available next door at Henderson Orthodontics. You may also park in the grassy area next to our parking lot.

Handicap space provided.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
You will not be allowed on the course before the official start.
You may not participate with another participant’s bib number.
You are not able to exchange (by selling or giving away) your bib number.
You must obey all directions by course monitors, police and safety personnel.
Strollers, baby joggers and wagons are welcome but those using these MUST be registered as participants for the 5K for liability reasons.
Unregistered participants, unauthorized vehicles, skateboards, roller skates and in-line skates or other motorized devices are not allowed.
Leashed pets are allowed on the course.
You are welcome to wear headphones.
For your safety and the safety of others, please allow room for faster individuals to pass you. If you are running or walking with friends, please do not line-up more than two abreast.
Race officials may cancel, delay or change the race to a non-scored event in case of extreme weather or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of the participants. In the event of cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
All race regulations comply with liability insurance requirements and ensure your safety and the fairness of the race.
