Boo Schexnayder: Once again coaches have asked overwhelmingly for Boo to return. The Director of the Track & Field Academy will once again take center stage as he discusses the needs of the sprints and Jumps. You will find no better person to listen to than Boo. You asked for him, you got him.
Mark Mirabelli: Always a NE Clinic favorite, Mark is a
nationally renowned speaker on the throws and has trained 100’s of HS and college throwers to success. He is the owner of the Marc Mirabelli throwing series on DVD and will have them on hand for coaches at each of his sessions to purchase.
Mike Holman: Presently Head Coach at Marian University in Indianapolis. Holman has 35 years of experience coaching HS athletes while at Lawrence Central in Indiana where his teams won several state championships and over 20 T & F and XC Conference Titles. Mike also serves as Field Director for Junior Elites and the Emerging Elite Coaches programs along with being been a lead instructor at the USATF
Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista.
Wayne Clark(MF): The veteran Ohio HS coach loves to teach the hurdles, and he’s great at it. Wayne lays out a plan that’s easy to follow for beginner hurdlers. Listening to coach Clark will help you prepare your hurdlers of the future. He is practical and informative.
Mike Bower: The throws coach from Newton South HS has built a powerful and consistent state level throwers program in Massachusetts. Beginner and veteran coaches can pick-up some of the tips Mike has done to build a great program from the ground up.
Tim Broe(Saucony): A 2004 Olympian and 5,000m Olympic finalist now present Head Coach at
Wellesley HS in Massachusetts will speak on XC and Distance. Tim has coach HS athletes at his
Alma-Ata East Peoria HS in Indiana, he was a 3X State XC Champ. He Held the American 3,000m indoor record, 2X indoor 3,000m Championships & a 3X USA XC Champion.
Joe Patrone: One of the finest HJ coaches around who has been dedicated to the HJ for years. Joe has coach many a HS and college high jumper to better performances. Many of his athletes have competed at the higher end of the scale.
Tim Morse: Tim has coached at Northeastern
University and presently coaches at Hingham HS. Tim’ session will cover the basics of the Weight and Hammer throw as more HS States are now picking it up.
Mike Silva: Mike’s sessions at our 2016 clinic were
were well talked about by many coaches. He is a Physical Therapist who founded Foundation
Performance in Providence RI. Mike is the guy coaches and athletes like USATF champ Mollie Huddle turn to for injury control.
Panel Sessions: There will be 2 panel session at this years clinic. These session will give coaches an other opportunity to ask question on the panel subject. Question cards from coaches will be submitted and drawn for each panel to answer.
(LBD) Learn By Doing Sessions: Be prepared to possible participate in these sessions with our clinicians. Comfortable athletic clothing may be needed.
