Tarentino Strong Road Race
All monies raised will go to the Ronald Tarentino Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund. We have chosen to have a family friendly fun run as a way to honor all that Officer Tarentino stood for in Leicester and in Auburn. Officer Tarentino was a respected, well loved police officer who served with distinction in both towns. He also was a true family man who loved spending time with his family. We hope this run will bring both communities and everyone involved closer and honor Officer Tarentino and all of the men and women in blue who continue to work to protect and serve for us.
Race bib pick up
All pre registered runners and walkers --Bib pick up will be available on 4/29/17 at the Leicester Rod and Gun from 4p-7p. 1015 Whittemore St. -Leicester, MA 01524
We will be offering food, raffles and more. This is a great way to avoid waiting in line day of and see the course. Please make sure to bring ID
Race Course for 5k
The start of the race will take place in the Leicester High school parking lot next to the Wolverine statue. The runners will head across Rte 56 and down Whittemore St. with a turn on to White Birch St and a loop around Sconset and back to the LHS
Parking
Parking will be available at the middle and primary school parking lots and at the town hall and senior center--we will also have parking available at the local Walmart with buses leaving WALMART AT 8AM -8:30 AND 9 AM--with 3 return trips starting at 11:30

Fun Run Rules
This is a family fun run--so strollers and walkers are welcome. All ages welcome--Due to liability issues, we respectfully request no dogs or other animals take place in the event.
Awards
There will be an award for first male and first female finisher. Then for first place male and female finishers --ages 12 and under, 13-21, 22-40 and 41 +
