IMPORTANT RACE INFORMATION
We look forward to welcoming you to Lake Quannapowitt on Saturday, September 16th for the Mystic Runners Classic. We have included some important information about the event below.
Bib Assignments
Did you get assigned your lucky number? Find your bib number at http://racewire.com/bib_assignments.php?id=7935
Shirts
Our first 200 registered runners will receive a t-shirt when they pick up their bibs. Curious is you will receive a shirt? If you registered prior to August 17th, we have a shirt for you! Remember t-shirts sizes are not guaranteed. (Kids Fun Run participants are not eligible for t-shirts, but they will get a goodie bag and medal when they finish their race.)
Pre-Race 5K & 10K Bib & Shirt Pickup
On Wednesday night we will be at the Lakeside Inn at 595 North Ave in Wakefield from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Friday night Marathon Sports at 401 Main Street in Melrose will be hosting a bib pickup from 4:30pm until 7pm. (Kids Fun Run bibs will be distributed on Saturday morning.)
Race Morning Information
Parking
Onsite parking is available at 100 and 200 Quannapowitt Parkway. Parking is also available within walking distance at The Lakeside Inn at 595 North Avenue, where our postrace celebration will take place.
Bib Pickup & Registration
Bib Pickup and registration will be available starting at 7am at 100 Quannapowitt Parkway.
Relax. Perform. Recover.
Stretch Therapists from LYMBR will be offering complimentary personalized stretching to help you relax, perform, and recover!
Kids Fun Run
Miss Krystn’s Dance Studio will lead the kids in a fun pre-run warmup starting at 7:45am. At 8am Rapunzel and Spider-Man from Princess Party Productions will join us to cheer on our youngest participants as they set out on their run. Following the race Rapunzel and Spider-Man will be on hand for pictures with the kids.
Don’t forget to stop by The Village’s tent to make a fun craft with the kids!

Please note: The 10K is a double loop of the lake. During the first loop 10K runners will stay right at the finish line and NOT pass through the finish line chute until they have completed the second loop of the lake.
Fuel Stations
Water and Gatorade will be offered along the course. After you cross the finish line join us for some refreshments and snacks.
Timing
RaceWire is timing our event and will offer free finisher photos. Check our Facebook page and your email following the event for links to results and photos.
Awards & Raffles
Prior to our award presentations we will be drawing names for some awesome raffle prizes. All preregistered runners and registered volunteers are eligible to win some great prizes! Overall and age group awards will be presented following our 5K and 10K races. If you are unable to stay following your race and have placed in your age group, please see our Race Director prior to leaving.
Post-Race Celebration
Join us after the race at the The Lakeside Inn for some food, beer and music! We will be offering runners, volunteers and vendors a free Samuel Adams with the purchase of a menu item. Coupons will be provided as you cross the finish line! The Lakeside Inn will open at 10:00am.

5K & 10K Finisher Medals, T Shirts for first 200 registered
Our 12th Annual Mystic Runners Classic will kickoff with a Kids' Fun Run, followed by a fast 5K and 10K course around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA. Participants can look forward to easy bib pickup, convenient parking, a scenic course, and finisher medals, followed by music and snacks at the finish line!
Our Course - Flat and Fast
Both the 5K and 10K course travel around beautiful Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA. This flat and fast course will give first time runners a chance to enjoy the views and all those seasoned veterans a chance to go for a PR.
Finish Line Festival
After you collect your finisher medal, cheer on your fellow runners and enjoy our Finish Line Festival. Celebrate what is sure to be an impressive finish with post race food, music and more.

Race Day Parking
