Event Information
The Quinn Amsler Memorial 5K Run
Bridge Elementary School is hosting the second 5K run in honor of Quinn Amsler. Quinn was a rising 4th Grader who lost his battle with cancer in July of 2016. He was an active boy who loved all sports and had a spirit that was evident in everything that he did. Even while battling his own illness, Quinn started his own charity while at Children's Hospital in Boston - the Quinn Bin - collecting toys for other children less fortunate than himself. There will be Quinn Bins at Bridge School the day of the race, so please consider donating an unwrapped new toy. The proceeds of this run will be donated to the Quinn Amsler Memorial Scholarship Fund benefiting a Lexington High School Senior. The scholarship is managed by the Trustees of Public Trusts, Town of Lexington.
About the 5K Course
This fast, nearly flat 5K is a great first time race for the running novice or the perfect warm-up for the experienced runner’s Fall race schedule. The course kicks off at Bridge Elementary School with two kilometers of flat roadway followed by a gentle hill at the halfway point. The course finishes off with a straight away on a paved, wooded path along Lexington’s Lincoln playing fields bringing you back to Bridge School.

Friday the 22rd at 8:30 am to 9:15 am
