About This Event
The Dawson Lake Dash is a 3.1 mile road race around the rolling hills of Dawson Lake in scenic Moraine View State Park in LeRoy, Illinois. All race proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
Awards
Awards for overall male and female winners and 1st - 5th place men and women in the following ten year age groups:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over
Additional Information
*Registration and packet pick-up is available at Fleet Feet Sports Bloomington from 4pm - 6pm on Saturday, August 26 or from 7am - 8am at Moraine View before the race on Sunday.
*For the safety of all participants absolutely no headphones, strollers or dogs will be permitted on the course.
*All participants will receive a t-shirt and goody bag while supplies last. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed to all participants registered by August 15.
*Please note that the entry fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Race Director may delay or cancel the event if the conditions on race day are unsafe. In the event of a cancellation no refunds of the entry fee or any other costs in connection with the event will be given. All proceeds (rain or shine) are donated to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in a Fleet Feet Sports Bloomington fitness event, its related activities, I, the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
The risk of injury from the activities involved in this event is significant, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury or death does exist. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releases or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation.
I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately. I understand this Fleet Feet Sports location is an independent licensee of Fleet Feet, Incorporated and independently operates this event.
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sibley Ventures, Inc. d/b/a FLEET FEET, their agents, employees, coaches, volunteers, officers, directors, franchisors, successors and assigns, the City of Bloomington, and any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors ("Releasees"), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, whether arising from the negligence of the releases or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I attest that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in this event, and my medical care provider has approved my participation. Further, I hereby release, consent to, and authorize, in advance, any such use of my name, photograph, voice or likeness by the foregoing parties in any manner they deem appropriate and necessary without remuneration to me.
