Purcellville Turkey Trot and Fun Run 2017
The 2017 Turkey Trot will be held on Sunday, Nov 12 and start at the Loudoun Valley Community Center @ 8:00a.m, 320 West School Street in Purcellville!

About this Event:
Enjoy a scenic run through historic Main Street and the beautiful streets of Purcellville. A perfect way to spend a SUNDAY autumn morning and enjoy "trotting" with friends, neighbors, and family! Please stay for the fun run for kids, awards and raffle prizes!!!

Proceeds from the 5k will benefit the Loudoun Valley Community Center's Advisory Board. On their behalf, thank you for your support of financial aid to families in need of preschool, afterschool and/or daycare programs in western Loudoun and college scholarships to our local high school students.

Registration:
1. Register at www.purcellvilleturkeytrot.racewire.com or mail/drop off registration form with $ to LVCC, 320 W. School St., Purcellville, VA 20132.
2. Early registration discount ends October 24, 2017 ($30).
3. Walk-in registration will be accepted at LVCC Sat, Nov. 11 from 4 to 6pm.
4. Day of race registration is from 6:15-7:45am at LVCC.

5K Race
1. Participants should be able to complete the 5K race in less than 45 minutes. After this time, race officials will transport any participants still remaining on the course back to LVCC.
2. Our 5K course is USATF certified. USATF rules prohibit strollers, baby joggers, pets, in-line skates and headphones on the course.
3. Times will be posted at www.racewire.com.
4. Overall winners & age division winners will receive awards.
5. Long Sleeve tees will be given to the first 350 registered 5K participants.
6. Groups of 20 or more are offered the reduced fee of $25 per runner but all registrations must be received at LVCC or submitted on-line by October 24, 2017.

Fun Run
Our popular Fun Run is a shorter distance for kids under ten years of age and their
families and will begin immediately following the 5K (around 8:45am).

Parking
Parking will be available at Emerick Elementary across the street from LVCC at 440 S. Nursery Ave. Additional parking is available at Firemen’s Field at 250 S. Nursery Ave.
