Event Information
About the Angel Run
The Angel Run is a community "fun" raiser and family event. It brings members of Medfield together during a festive time of year to generate funds in support of Medfield families in need. In 2006, family and friends organized the run in remembrance of Natasha Domeshek. The Medfield Foundation Inc. (MFi) took up the holiday tradition in 2012. The majority of the proceeds will continue to support town residents through the Medfield Outreach Program and other MFi Initiatives.
The race is open to the public and all ages are encouraged to participate. The route is filled with decorations, carolers, water stations and other festive highlights. Upon finishing the race, runners will receive their run times and are invited to a post-run party at the school.

Early Bird Registration submissions received by November 1, 2017 are $25.00 and will include a 2017 Angel Run shirt; If no shirt is desired, please indicate so under shirt size for that particular participant. Angel Run Shirt
Commemorative Angel Run Shirts are available to participants who register by the early bird deadline of November 1, 2017. Please note that shirts are available in Adult and Youth sizes and will be performance material long-sleeved shirts. Please pick your sizes accordingly.
For those that miss the early bird deadline, a limited number of shirts will be available for sale on the day of the event.
The Course
Due to construction of the wooden bridge on Philip Street, the official USATF certified 5K course will be taking a detour. For the second year in a row, the Angel Run course will follow a slightly different route. Unfortunately this means the course will no longer be USATF certified. If construction on the bridge is completed in time, we will revert back to our original course. Otherwise, we will be forced to use this alternate route. Timing will be by chip timing to ensure accurate results for all participants. The race begins and ends at Medfield High School. See the map below.
Parking
There is plenty of parking at both Medfield High School and the attached Blake Middle School. For overflow parking, we suggest using Metacomet Park which is only a few blocks walk to the starting line.
Post-Race Party and Awards Ceremony
All participants and spectators are invited to join us at the Angel Run post-race party in the cafeteria where you can enjoy a variety of snacks, baked goods, cold water and hot drinks. The Awards Ceremony to recognize finishers in a variety of categories will begin at 1:30pm in the cafeteria. Follow the signs at the conclusion of the race.
Shirt and Bib Pick-up or Delivery
Shirts and Bibs will be delivered to Medfield residents a few days before the race. Out of town participants can pick up their Shirts and Bibs at the Registration Desk inside the Medfield High School Cafeteria. Medfield residents who miss the early bird registration will need to pick up their Bibs at the Registration Desk as well. Look for the Registration Desk signs.
