About This Event
This is the fifth annual Bridgewater Police 5k and 1mi Kids Fun Run. Enjoy a beautiful run through historic downtown Bridgewater. The course is relatively flat, and fast! This event starts and ends at the Bridgewater Police Station.

The kids 1mi fun run will be a times event and will begin PROMPTLY at 8:30am, followed by the 5k PROMPTLY at 9:00am. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.

Raffles and awards will follow at approximately 9:45am.
Awards
Awards will be given in a number of age brackets for m/f as well as the top 3 for law enforcement. Those brackets are <14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

We will be timing the kids 1mi race and giving awards to the top 3 finishers for this event. It is vital that children be registered online in advance so that we can have the correct number of bibs with timing chips. Please note that the kids 1mi fun run is still offered at no cost, we simply ask that you bring a nonperishable food donation for the local food pantry.

PLEASE CHECK EXPIRATION DATES ON ALL DONATIONS!
T-Shirts
LADIES SHIRTS TEND TO RUN SMALL. You might want to consider ordering a size larger than you would normally wear, or ordering a men's shirt. The only difference is the men's cut is a bit more generous and less tailored in the shoulder and bust area.

Shirts will be guaranteed for ALL participants that register before August 24, 2018. After that date, we will do our best to accommodate with sizing and availability. There will be additional shirts available to purchase at $10.00 each. Cash or check only. Will not be able to accept credit cards at the event.
Finishers Medals
All runners that cross the finish line will receive a finishers medal. All kids participating in the 1mi Kids Fun Run will receive a ribbon as they cross the finish line.
Silent Auction and Raffle Tickets
There will be a number of items up for silent auction like an amazing set of spinner luggage donated by Samsonite valued at over $800! There are prizes to raffle off after the race while the winners are being calculated. Tickets will be sold at bib pick-up on Friday September 28, 2018 and again the morning of the event Saturday September 29, 2018. Once the 5k race has started tickets will no longer be sold. Cash or check only please. Check out our webpage or Facebook page for updates on prizes that will be available. www.bpd5k.com or https://www.facebook.com/BridgewaterPolice5K
