About This Event
The Love MUch 5K is a newly rebranded 5K run/walk held on the campus of Multnomah University on Saturday, February 10, 2018 with the race starting at 10am. The event is put on by the MU cross country/track & field teams as a fundraiser for the programs. Formerly known as the Multnomah University Community 5K Run/Walk, this event is approaching its 4th year. New for 2018 is part of the proceeds will be donated to the Abuse Recovery Ministry & Services (ARMS) here in Hillsboro.
The 5K (3.1 mile) route is a non-USATF certified route beginning and ending in front of the Lytle Gymnasium on the campus. It circles around our grounds and into the surrounding Montavilla neighborhood. There is one challenging hill just after the 1 mile mark but overall it's very manageable! We have signage, course volunteers and the miles marked as well as one water stop that you will see twice during the event. It is all paved and please use the sidewalks when available. While we do have a permit, there will be no street closures or officers directing traffic so please be aware and follow all general traffic rules.
