Event Information
About This Event
The STRIVERS Mother’s Day 5K race is a unique event, bringing out the best in the MetroWest Community. Start your Mother’s Day off this year with the “gift” of an early morning run with some good company!
A portion of the proceeds from The STRIVERS 5k race will benefit Natick’s "Embrace A Family". The mission of "Embrace A Family" is to provide support for families faced with a cancer diagnosis. In addition, proceeds will also fund the STRIVERS Scholarship to be awarded to a young woman who embodies the traits and characteristics of a STRIVER.
Course
Starting and ending at Natick High School, runners will start in front of the High School and run briefly out to West Street before entering the school lane that runs behind the High School and adjacent to Dug Pond. Once completing this loop, the runners will exit on to West Street and follow West Street across to Oakland and then to Pond Street. Then re-enter the quaint neighborhood behind the High School and Dug Pond from Lakeview Street. The course then leads back out to West Street and runners will finish in front of the High School. Roads will be coned off and limited if any traffic is expected. This course is flat. Walkers are asked to stay on the sidewalks at all times and must be off the course by 9:30am.
