Grand Prairie Housing & Neighborhood Services
Pre-Registration is CLOSED. You will be able to register onsite Saturday morning Beginning at 7:45am , June 23, 2018. PLEASE bring Cash or Check for payment.
Join the Grand Prairie Housing & Neighborhood Services Department for a 5K (stroll, walk or run) through EpicCentral Park in Grand Prairie, at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018. This is a fun event that will be timed and we will provide race numbers (receive a T-Shirt – with your $10.00 paid registration and a signed waiver form). Space is limited to the first 200 registrants.
About this Event
A fun event to promote Fair Housing
The Fair Housing Act protects people from discrimination when they are renting, buying, or securing financing for any housing. The prohibitions specifically cover discrimination because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability and the presence of children.
Race Day Activities
Location: EpicCentral Park, 2975 Esplanade, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
8:30am - 5k Begins
After the race - GPHNS and partners will present refreshments and educational booths at the finish line to participants.
Lunch will be provides between 11:00am - 12:00pm, catered by In and Out Burger.
Awards
Awards will be given out to the Top 3 Finishers for each age divisions for females and males. Top overall Female, Male and Masters will be given trophies.
