RaceWire | Elon Law WLA 5K

The race originally began to honor Barbara Sullivan, the mother of Ann Sullivan who was a student at Elon Law. Barbara Sullivan ultimately passed away from cancer in 2009 and this race is in her honor to support women’s health causes. This year we have decided to raise awareness and money for the Women’s Resource Center located here in Greensboro. The mission of the Women’s Resource Center is to promote the self-reliance of women by assessing needs, providing services and acting as a gateway to community resources. In seeking solutions for unmet needs, the Women’s Resource Center provides strategic leadership through collaboration and partnerships within the community.

All the proceeds of the race will go to the Women’s Resource Center in Greensboro. Elon Law WLA set a goal of $5,000 and we hope to surpass that, please help us meet our goal and give this great organization a hearty contribution.
