The Course
The 5k/10k course will be in and around the streets of Dos Vientos. The 5k is relatively flat and a great family run or walk. The 10k, however is a little more challenging with several moderately challenging climbs. Both courses will be timed.

About The Jewel Levine Foundation
The mission of the Jewel Levine Foundation is to provide hope,
support, and monetary assistance to individuals and families
that are under financial duress caused by extreme
circumstances or life threatening medical conditions. The
foundation has raised nearly $125,000 since it was founded in
September 2016.
Danielle 'Missy' founded The Jewel Levine Foundation in honor
of her inspirational grandmother, Jewel Levine. Jewel had
kidney failure for over 15 years and went to dialysis 3 days a
week. During this period Jewel faced numerous complications
however she never complained. She was always upbeat and
so inspirational. Jewel sadly passed away in 2013, but we hope
to keep her positive spirit alive through our foundation.

Day of the Race
LATE REGISTRATION opens: 6:00 am
5K and 10k Start: 7:30 am
Parade: 10:00 am
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 4th of July 5K/10k, I agree to assume all risk inherent in participation in such event, whether they are apparent to me or not. I certify that I am in good physical health and fit to participate. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that participation carries an inherent risk of injury to my person in damage to my property. I hereby waive and release, for myself and for my heirs and assigns, and that all claims, cause of action, or liabilities which may hereafter up accrue against The Jewel Levine Foundation Inc., and its affiliates, their agents, employees, volunteers, officers, directors, successors and assigns, The Jewel Levine Foundation Inc., and any and all sponsors, the representatives and successors, that may arise as a result of my participation in the 4th of July 5k/10k, including any and all claims for personal injuries caused by The Jewel Levine Foundation Inc. negligence.
Further, I hereby grant permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, and any other record of these events for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising, without monetary payment to me. (The Privacy Act protects this information)
